What stays in your browser
Personal CVs, their version names, and language preferences are stored locally in your browser. Examples remain temporary until you edit their content. Other pages on the same origin share the browser’s storage boundary; a URL folder is not separate storage.
Hosting requests
Your browser downloads the page, scripts, styles, example CVs, translations, and fonts from our hosting provider, Firebase Hosting. Application resource requests contain no CV content. The provider may keep technical access logs, including IP addresses and request information. The editor contains no analytics or third-party tracking scripts.
Backups and exports
PDF, JSON, and text exports contain the selected CV and are created in your browser. JSON backups can be opened as separate editable CVs. Other personal versions are not bundled into an export. Store downloaded files somewhere you trust; they contain personal information.
Deleting data
“Delete this draft” removes the selected browser draft and keeps your other drafts and preferences. Other open tabs may retain a copy. Clearing this site’s browser data removes its drafts and preferences, including data of other DilloApps tools on the same origin. Downloaded files are separate and must be deleted separately.
External links
Advice sources and links you put in a CV open only when selected. Their providers have their own privacy practices. picoCV does not attach your CV to those requests.
